Ladder of Escape

Ladder of Escape was launched as a deliberate act of defiance against the complacency and routine virtuosity that had settled over both classical and contemporary music. Each album in the series is devoted to a single soloist and the distinctive musical world they inhabit. These are performers who follow their own path, choose repertoire on their own terms, and treat their instrument as a means of exploration rather than display. The result is a legendary, contrarian collection: intimate, uncompromising and personal, offering a way out of the ordinary for listeners who want to hear music made with conviction rather than convention.
